Does the free version contain all the features of the paid version when unlocked?

Yes. Unlocking the free version with the in-app purchase enables all the features of the full version. Most new features will be added to the paid version and can be unlocked in the free version.

How many questions can be listed?

There is no limit. Performance may be impacted with high question counts (above 1,000 questions).

How do I turn off the Split Total stuff?

You are able to turn off the Split Total stuff on the Options screen.

The percentage amounts are nice, but I like to tip 19.74% all the time. Why? It is a magic number. Can I somehow always give that percentage?

Not now, but maybe someday.

Why doesn't the tip total match the tip amount displayed at the bottom of some receipts?

Tip Aid uses the amount you enter in the Bill field. If you entered the total including taxes, your tip will be larger than the amount provided on the receipt, which excludes tax. One of the Pro features allows the ability to include or exclude tax before calculating the tip.

What features are unlocked by the in-app purchase?

When you unlock the full Pro feature set you will get additional themes, saved receipts images, location services to automatically identify where a tip was made, tagging, advanced tax options, and expense report exporting.

What is the Tip Jar for?

We want to keep the basic features free and the Pro features inexpensive. Some people want to support app developers above the app price. What better way to to that in an app all about tipping than a tip? If you so desire, you can leave a tip and even set a reminder to tip at regular intervals. If you don't want to leave a tip, no problem. We won't ask without you requesting it.
